Yesterday I told you guys about the competitor of Asus EEE PC from HP and as I told you that this market has a lot of potential and many companies are soon going to come up to challenge the EEE PC and here I present to you another competitor of EEE PC from none other but the PC and laptop manufacturing giant Dell. Dell is soon going to enter the sub-notebook market with an 8.9” Compal Manufactured Sub-Notebooks. Sources say that Dell is going to start shipping this laptop from early June.
The launch of Dell’s Sub Notebook will also coincide with the availability of Intel Atom Processors which are specialized mobile processors and have TDP as low as 8W.The Founder and CEO of Dell, Michael Dell when asked a question about HP’s recently announced 2133 Mini-Note said “We will introduce a similar laptop”.
Dell will have to face stiff competition in the market by the time it launches it notebook in June from Asus Eee PC 900 and HP 2133.

When ASUS had launched its EEE PC, no one had expected it to be such a huge hit. It became so popular that it even forced Microsoft to extend the life shell of Windows XP Home by another 2 years. Now other manufacturers after seeing the potential of ASUS EEE PC are trying not to be left out in the cold.
So the first competitor of Asus EEE PC has been launched by HP, in the form of HP 2133 Mini-Note PC.

Can anyone imagine electronic designs in shoes? Yeah, technology has not even spared your shoes. As you can all see, this shoe named “Pioneer” has a headlight in front to facilitate or even amuse you while walking or jogging. This shoe converts kinetic walk when we walk to electrical energy, which powers its headlight. The electrical energy generated is stored in a small battery which keeps on charging as long as we walk or jog. It can keep the headlight running for around 12 hours while covering an area of 1.5m ahead you.

Now here’s a delight for photographers. Samsung has unveiled its NV 24HD high-end digital camera featuring HD video capabilities and 10.2 megapixel. The device has a 24mm wide lens facilitated with 3.6x optical zoom. It also has an HDMI port so that you can connect it to your HDTV for viewing your recorded videos at 30 frames per second.
Another major advantage it carries is that it has a 2.5″ AM-OLED display on the back side of the camera which means that it will be hell faster than the standard LCD. The camera also offers all sorts of regular features in the high end category like Optical Image Stabilization, Digital Image Stabilization, Red Eye Fix, Auto Contrast Balance, Blink Detection and so on making your photo-shoots a pleasurable experience.
Well all these feature are ideal for professional photographers and not for amateurs like me and you.

With Blu-ray reaching the higher end laptops, Dell is quite serious about making Blu-ray available in its laptops. Recently, Dell launched its Inspiron 1525 with in built Blu-ray for just $879. The notebook comes with a Blu-ray combo drive and most of the other specsremain the same. These include a Core2Duo T5550 processor (1.83Ghz), a 15″ screen and a HDMI port. Other features which are not so fancy include 1GB RAM, a 80GB HDD and a GMA X3100 graphics accelerator. The notebook might upset those who run resource hungry applications or any gaming freak but considering the face that it offers inbuilt Blu-ray just for $879, it’s a bang for your buck. So if you are a download junkie and always run out of space, just go ahead and grab it.
