Quirky iPod System By Boynq

Boynq iPod Alarm

It’s true that markets are flooded with many types of the iPod speakers, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t love a weird-looking system, for my iPod.

The Wakeup Alarm-Clock-Cum-iPod Speaker from Boynq features three LCD screens that display the hour, the minute, and the particular radio station, each in a separate quadrant. And the fourth square part is filled by you in dock a Nano, a Classic, a Touch, and even the iPhone (though the brochure says it’s for iPhones produced after January 1. is it?)

iPod Dual Layer Protection

Apple did spell bounding magic by launching its trendy new iPhone and the latest iPod. Most cases are retreads from existing lines, so with the exception of the shiny Reflect cases I usually just pass on them.

Whenever someone creates the storm after a lull I tend to break my silence and turn eager to write about it. Same happened this time when even my girlfriend exclaimed “Wow”. And I’ve got to say, iSkin’s eVo4 Duo.

Motorola Q 9H

Guys welcome the new sizzling tool to among our multimedia cell phones, the Motorola Q 9H, a true companion of a Businessman, launched by AT&T it the first in Q series to support international roaming by its QUAD band Support.

Other important features are Bluetooth, a GPS system and comes bundled with Opera browser for web surfing, Go productivity suite for your various documents, and one of three add-on software bundles.

Q Global ( as it is commonly called as )isn’t that fast while you hang out to international locations, reason behind this is that while in home network it uses AT&T Wireless’s 3G HSDPA/UMTS network, but as you step out overseas data speeds tend to slower to pokier EDGE rates. (We miss Wi-Fi support here)

Mac OS X Leopard

The Mac OS X arrived with the sonic boom in the blogosphere. Did you hear that! It was expected though. So excited was everyone that you had the Leopard patched to run on PC DVD’s on the very first day of the launch! But makes my job difficult alright! There’s such slew of things in the OS that a small article won’t do. So here I go, *sigh*There are a lot of changes not only in the included productivity programs, improved security and improvements scattered all over the landscape. While there is no ONE compelling feature to run out and get the upgrade, there are so many improvement in the hyped 300 features( not everyone them of much consequence) in Leopard that many would consider upgrading. To them the 2.5 years wait, longest in Mac OS history, has been worth it. The stuff is selling like crazy already!New Look Read the rest of this entry »

Toshiba does see potential in instrument panels of vehicles. When the technology mature, for all you know, Apple may be all over it!!!

Review: Dell E228WFPc - Making Tough Comptetion At Affordable Price

Dell E228WFPc

Dell E228WFPC is no contender for design awards, yet with its competitive prices ($300) and graphics features this 22” monitor would add solid value in a office setting delivering high quality text and graphics.

The monitor passed the jury’s scrutiny without much of a problem. Text and graphics on Word and excel applications were quite clear and sharp. Common web page graphics such images of a group of people or an image of a colorful fruit passed with flying colors! Brilliant were the colors on the object and realistic skin tones on people’s faces & limbs.

This model too had a boomerang shaped stand like many Dell monitors. The stand had a hole inside to pull wires through and save on the wire clutter. The hole was a little too narrow though.

IOGear Wireless USB Hub Reviewed

IOGear Wireless USB Hub

IOGear Wireless USB Hub. Unquestionably, wireless USB technology has a lot of potential. Difficult to say this device lives up to that. Wireless hub should not only remove wire clutter but give one fast transfers. USB 2.0 transfres are actually faster than achieved through the wireless set up.

Using the wireless hub is claimed to be as easy as connecting the antenna dongle, plugging in the hub and connecting devices to the hub on its USB ports. One needed to install separate drivers for the hub as well as the antenna. Hub then was to be associated with the PC through an authentication process and using a custom communication piece to communicate with the hub. Hub had quite a problem with the RF signal even when sitting a foot away from the antenna!

Transform Windows XP To Mac OS X Leopard

Tagged Under : , ,

Update:

After my earlier article on how to install Mac OSX Leopard on a PC. I was thinking about those fellows who can’t download or install the Leopard on their PC, so I requested my friend DeeKayMeister to help me write something for my readers to give their desktop an Ultimate Mac OS X Leopard Transformation!

Download Leopard Transformation Pack

Mirror:
One
(Megaupload.com)

Two (TinyUpload.com)

Update:
1. Due to exceeding downloads and bandwidth, I had to transfer the files to an external server.
2. Mac OS X Cursor Pack updated.

I thought of downloading the complete pack won’t be easy for those unlucky fellows on dial-up connection, so I am adding links to individual Parts of the Ultimate Mac OS X Leopard Transformation Pack.

Windows Default Convert From This To This Leopard Patched

So here we begin as the the main feature of OS X are the Login Screen, the Dock bar etc. So first of all we will add a dock menu and start the process which transforms “Windows XP OS” into a “MAC OSX”. Read the rest of this entry »
