This robot is more than a foot in diameter and it walls over edges and also around obstacles with the aid of the sensors present and the software inside. This has three wheels two of which can be used to lift roomba over miniature obstacles like carpets and rugs. If the robot is set in the middle of the room then the robot traces a spiral path to ensure pickup in that area. It interacts very well with objects and obstacles. If it hits a wall it would just vacuum around the wall or move off and vacuum else where. This way it ensures to vacuum around obstacles and also maintain its presence in the open areas where it is free from obstacles.
