The Nintendo gaming console Wii has now caught up to Microsoft’s Xbox 360 in the total market share. This is despite the fact that the Xbox 360 had about 1 year of head start. Even so the Xbox 360 still maintains a very sizable lead over the Playstation 3 from Sony which is considered to be its more direct competitor.

The first beta of Mozilla Firefox 3 was finally released after falling months behind schedule. After correcting a few bugs here and there this platform have significant improvements to both the type of user interface and the performance of the browser. Firefox now faces strict competition in the market. When it was 1^st launched Mozilla was the only option to the Internet Explorer. Now it competes against OPERA 3 and Internet Explorer 7 which is much improved and also Safari 3 by apple.
