After my earlier article on how to install Mac OSX Leopard on a PC. I was thinking about those fellows who can’t download or install the Leopard on their PC, so I requested my friend designer kid to help me write something for my readers to give their desktop an Ultimate Mac OS X Leopard Transformation!
Mirror:
One (Megaupload.com)
Two (TinyUpload.com)
Update:
1. Due to exceeding downloads and bandwidth, I had to transfer the files to an external server.
2. Mac OS X Cursor Pack updated.
I thought of downloading the complete pack won’t be easy for those unlucky fellows on dial-up connection, so I am adding links to individual Parts of the Ultimate Mac OS X Leopard Transformation Pack.
![]() |
So here we begin as the the main feature of OS X are the Login Screen, the Dock bar etc. So first of all we will add a dock menu and start the process which transforms “Windows XP OS” into a “MAC OS X”.1. RK Launcher - So starting with first run the RK Launcher install it and see the results you can adjust it into any position on screen by right clicking on setup from the pack offered here, simply it.

2. Visual Style - Now let give this Mac OS X a Leopard flavour with Visual Styles and for that you have two options:
- Use WindowBlinds’s theme named Leopard 3.0 which is inside the Ultimate Leopard Transformation Pack (sorry WindowBlinds ain’t cheap so I cant supply that but you can easily find the trail version here).
- Or else if you don’t have WindowBlinds to run the theme, we have included a Visual style version which works without any 3rd party Software such as WindowBlinds. Just make sure you patch your PC with a small tool namely UX Theme Patcher and then just clicking on the Visual style file will apply the theme !!
3. Cursors - Most user will be happy with this experience but much more fun can be added by using this cursor pack. Click Here To Download The Mac OS X Cursor Pack. Just download and unzip the file and follow the steps in Read Me file to apply Mac icons.
4. The Leopard Wallpaper Pack - Download the Leopard Wallpaper Pack From Here.
5. The Leopard Login - This will change your original “boring” XP logon for a Mac OS X Leopard one (that’s the reason I asked you to not use the one which came with FlyakiteOSX). To install you well need “Logon Studio”. Once you have Logon Studio, add the logon screen theme to the program and choose the newly installed theme to submit it. Download the Leopard Login from here. There you are done (comes with the package).
6. TClock Light - It will change your taskbar clock and can also make your taskbar and start menu transparent. Just go to TClock Light folder and run the software from there. Download this software from here.
And yes, you are now in the Mac World, Enjoy the Leopard Experience!!!
Please report if any links are broken and send your comments about this tutorial!! We did lots of hard work for it.
Note: You can read the second part of Ultimate Transformation Series (Linux Transformation Pack) here.

November 3rd, 2007 at 5:39 am
That’s so stupid. Why will you transform your old crap XP to Mac OSX. Get a Mac Looser. Stop copying Mac OS style. Do something with Vista instead.
November 3rd, 2007 at 1:31 pm
bodo ah :what:
November 3rd, 2007 at 1:44 pm
Dear HJr,
Buying a Mac is not in everyones reach. And most of the people use XP today. So what’s the harm in tweaking your XP a bit to look like Mac. And for vista we already have Vista Transformation Pack. If you want you can buy Mac
November 14th, 2007 at 3:51 am
Visual style version which works without any 3rd party Software such as WindowBlinds, Just using UX Theme Patcher is a broken link. where can i find the file???? :broke:
November 14th, 2007 at 9:36 am
I’m really quite sick of people posting on customization sites simply saying “Just get a Mac ‘looser’”. First of all, it’s “loser”. Second of all, take the time to realize the effort that people have put into customization.
While a lot of people use Windows, it is hardly wrong to have an appreciation for the beauty of the Mac OS’s. Plus it takes certain skills both in programming and visualization art to be able to create customization such as this.
Besides, if you’re so into your precious Macs, why did you even read this article to begin with? Just so you can bash the author? That is just plain uncalled for.
Lastly, thank you to all the dedicated skinners out there. ::

1. explorer bar icons
2. complete icon pack - which applies automatically
3. boot screen - althu risky
love the login and MSN
December 6th, 2007 at 3:47 pm
thnx Lavin …
We will think on adding the style XP stuff.
We are happy that you liked the MSN and Login hack.
December 6th, 2007 at 11:34 pm
one good thing to do is:
in the logon screen,
change the background to the default leopard background (the purple universe thingee) so it looks like the logon thing is just masking the desktop when it loads and hiding/locking the dock and other stuff. i tried editing the screen with object desktop, but coud only change the back part and not the window sort of thing, it did not look transparent.
There was no MSN thing in the pack, but there was some FIREFOX pack, have no idea wat to do wit it.
wat to do with the styler thing. i got styler and applied it, but it just loaded in explorer in the side and was of no use.
is the windowblinds VS same as the other one.

Also, if possible…try and create a tutorial for non-computer literate people, or even just to make the experience a whole lot easier, a video and post it on YouTube.

Do check it out in a few days.
December 24th, 2007 at 5:46 pm
I’m from Bangladesh and here it is too difficult to download either from megaupload or rapidshare. coz slots are allocated to a very limited number countries for this country.
so it would be very helpful if you kindly upload it in megashare.
thanks in advance.
December 25th, 2007 at 4:04 pm
ok dude. I will make another mirror soon.
December 25th, 2007 at 8:36 pm
Hi there,
First of all let me thank you for the wonderful effort you have put in and to your designers for being so awesome with the designs.
I am a novice and newbie at this and I hate to ask this question, but when I double click on the leopard transformation pack.exe it extracts individual folders, now where do I extract it to.
And how to make it all work. A small tutorial would help a lot.
Thanks once again for your excellent efforts.
Regards,
Venkatesh
December 25th, 2007 at 9:39 pm
So guys, here’s another mirror. Download the entire pack from TinyUpload.com
January 8th, 2008 at 5:31 am
Hi, I’d like to make sure of this, is this fully compatible with Windows Vista?
January 8th, 2008 at 8:17 pm
Great Job dude. Keep it up
January 9th, 2008 at 2:04 am
Hey buddy awesome work. This Mac OS X Leopard is really a 100% of the real one. So thanx to this customization and keep it up.
January 17th, 2008 at 8:56 am
@ HellFire
Dude, it is 100% compatible with Windows Vista.
January 18th, 2008 at 12:01 am
Hi,
Thanks for this fantastic package!
But a few problems/questions.
-When are you gonna fix the “not-included-MSN-files” problem”? I like to see it
!
-Instead of Firefox you can now use Safari for Windows, it can be downloaded from Apple’s website.
-Can you give a good Icon Package, to let it even look more like a Mac?
Greetings
Sam
January 18th, 2008 at 3:36 pm
Hi!
I just wanted to say that I am getting your transformer, but even before installing it I say THANX!
Hope to see real leopard on my laptop.
But I will enjoy your program till the day!

Wow I fooled my collage buddies. Thanks!!!
January 24th, 2008 at 11:34 pm
I am not super smart when it comes to computers but if I download this from TinyUpload, is it going to do it for me or am I going to miss something and mess my computer up? And what about existing files, are they going to convert to the Mac stuff?
January 26th, 2008 at 4:13 pm
@ Kass
See dude, if you follow everything correctly, then there will be no problem. But please take proper backup, so that in case anything goes wrong you can restore from that backup. I suggest you make a system restore point before installing the Leopard Transformation Pack.
January 26th, 2008 at 4:19 pm
@ Sam Ecker
1. Dude I think I have lost those MSN files completely. So it will take time to make new ones.
2. Yeah Safari is a good option but it is not as good as Firefox
3. I am searching for a good Leopard Icon Pack but in the mean time, you can install the shell32.dll file from FlyakiteOSX Pack.
Have Fun
January 28th, 2008 at 1:34 am
Thanks so much for the tutorial, I was really bored reading about how to apply different kind of themes, but when I saw this page, I was amazed. It’s really good, and the links aren’t broken, that makes life easier.
The final result is not like an original Mac, but it’s really cool, as I have a Compaq Presario v3000 and failed to install Mac natively, so I can’t expect more than this.
January 29th, 2008 at 2:59 pm

January 30th, 2008 at 8:18 pm
Hey, awesome. Still not installed cuz I got slow internet. But, I got my desktop cleaned off and got the dock-bars up and running. Cool Wizard is there a way to move the, maximize, minimize and close, buttons to the left side? And I’ve noticed that on Macs that their “taskbar” is at the top of the screen. Is this correct? And is their a way to move it to the top? Thanks.
Also people, if you search on Google or Yahoo for SHOCK4WAY. You can download a file that will allow your computer to have “four screens” kinda sorta. You can flip from one screen to the next. That is NOT to take away though from the brilliance of Cool Wizard. Thanks for all you’ve done. I’ll keep you updated. THANKS. (I do hope to own a Mac someday though. 4grand and an OS that ain’t compatible with nothing
And the Shock4Way if your parents peek in one everything your doing and you don’t want them to see. They walk by press a button and wala, “hey mom I’m learning about the enviroment” “That’s nice honey” They walk away. Button press wala
Thanks again. And could you put this on Wikihow?
January 30th, 2008 at 9:32 pm
Can I move the taskbar to the top of the screen like on a Mac? I have T-clock lite, but how do I move the taskbar to the top of the screen? And how do I get the taskbaar rounded like you do?
Thanks awesome program.
J-Dawg
January 31st, 2008 at 3:48 pm
@ J-Dawg
Yes dude you can. Just right click on your taskbar and untick the option “Lock the Taskbar”. After unlocking your taskbar just drag it to the top of the screen. Then right click on it again and choose “Lock the Taskbar”.
Enjoy a Mac like taskbar
January 31st, 2008 at 10:08 pm
Is their a way to move the, maximize, minimize, and close buttons to the left side of the screen. Like on a Mac.
THANKS AGAIN!

February 12th, 2008 at 10:44 pm
You could use leftsider for the icons,
Whats the name of the program that makes the windows in the background darker and the working window highlighted on a mac?
Is their a XP version?
February 13th, 2008 at 8:40 pm
@ J-Dawg
Well dude till now I don’t have any trick to move those buttons on the left side of the screen but if I get one, I will post here soon.
Till then Enjoy !!!
February 13th, 2008 at 8:45 pm
@ Khaled
Dude that firefox pack is a theme for firefox to make it look like Safari browser for Mac.
After opening firefox browser just go to Tools >> Add-ons and click on themes. And then drag the theme file there. The theme will be installed then and you can use it if you like.
February 13th, 2008 at 8:48 pm
@ Inam
I don’t know whether it’s the same as crystal xp’s bricopack or not, but dude me and my designer made this pack ourselves. No copy paste here. It’s original and cool
February 15th, 2008 at 7:28 am
Many many thanx. I will look for future updates.

March 15th, 2008 at 3:24 pm
Hi. I’ve installed the logon screen into LogonStudio but is there a way to change from the leaves background to one of the backgrounds in your wallpaper pack?
Cheers a lot!

March 19th, 2008 at 1:55 am
Thank you so much for this, it’s awesome!
March 20th, 2008 at 1:33 pm
wow.. really Really REALLY THANK YOU VERY MUCH for the transform stuffs..
it works well in my PC and looks great also (of course, it’s Mac)..
is there any other crazy upgrading stuffs for this XP->Mac transform tools?
but, i’m happy with the current and new experience for me (after these years bored with XP),
thanks again, guys!!
March 20th, 2008 at 1:58 pm
@eatsmores
I really don’t know about this. I never used a custom wallpaper to create logon screens though I have made bootscreens from wallpapers. But there’s no harm in trying. Just flip through the menus of Logon Studio and find if anything’s available there.
March 20th, 2008 at 1:59 pm
@Iceman & rendi
Thank you for appreciating my work.

By the way, is there anything I can do to the make the icons on the right of the screen/browser/whatever you are on (the minimize button, restore down/up button, the close button)?
March 22nd, 2008 at 11:55 am
@iBear
I couldn’t get you. Can you post a snapshot describing your problem in detail?
